Fitzgerald Umah is a consulting Architect with over 20 years of experience in the Building Construction Industry specifically in Architecture, Project Management & Construction. In addition to having a postgraduate Diploma in Management from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi, Fitzgerald is an Architecture alumnus of Yaba College Technology, and holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Architecture both from the University of Lagos where he graduated as one of the best students in his class and won the University Graduate Assistantship Award. Having done his NYSC in Kaduna State, He won the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) State Honour’s Award for a Self-made project on Earth technology in 1998. Fitzgerald is a Chartered Member of The Royal Institute of British Architects and an international Associate of the American Institute of Architects. He is also a registered member of the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria and a Full Member of The Nigerian Institute of Architects – NIA where he served as the immediate past Chairman of the Lagos state Chapter. He currently is the Founding & Managing partner of Contemporary Architecture Limited, An architecture, design & development firm with offices in Lagos. Fitzgerald is happily married to Dr. Chiamaka and are blessed with 3 Children.
